One important comment.
It is important to remember that in Russian construction a building is
sold in an unfinished condition. That is to say, with brick walls and
concrete floors and ceilings. From that point it is "renovated",
or finished as we might say in America. The square meter costs are not
high, but renovation - depending on how elaborate it is - will add from
20% to 60% (or more) to the cost of the building! So a floor or building
which has been partially or completely renovated can cost much more than
an unfinished equivalent, but will probably be no more expensive in the
long run. If you consider the fact that it can be used right away, it
may very well be cheaper. |
